"Tenth Five-Year" Rubber Processing and Carbon Black Industry Environmental Protection Technology and Measures in China

The environmental protection technologies and measures that should be taken by China's rubber processing and carbon black industry during the "10th Five-year Plan" period:
1. We will reform the production process of water and oil reclaimed rubber and develop a clean production process that uses no waste or waste reclaimed rubber.
2. The newly-constructed rubber mixing device must adopt the closed rubber refining process, as well as the carbon black packaging, storage and transportation of all sealed. Research and development of pollution control technology for rubber refining and vulcanizing smoke.
3. The discharge coefficient of waste water produced from recycled rubber production is less than 1.9 tons (raw water). The composition of reclaimed rubber wastewater is complex and contains a large number of difficult-to-biodegrade substances. It is recommended to use anaerobic (acidification-hydrolysis)-aerobic treatment to achieve discharge standards.
4. Steam condensate produced during rubber processing should be returned directly to the boiler instead of soft water.
5. It is forbidden to build a new production plant of 10,000 tons/year of oil-furnace process carbon black, and a production plant for carbon black of 10,000 tons or above must be equipped with a wet granulation process unit.
6. Fully promote the direct combustion method to convert the flammable gaseous pollutants in carbon black exhaust gas into harmless carbon dioxide and water, and to recycle the heat of combustion so that the waste heat from carbon black production can be fully utilized.
7. The use of a waste heat boiler series multi-stage air preheater not only can maximize the recycling of the waste heat of the high-temperature carbon black flue gas, but also can meet the requirements of the carbon black collection and flue gas purification system equipment on the carbon black flue gas temperature. The waste heat utilization rate of this method can be increased by more than 20% compared with other current methods.
8. The use of carbon black for the production of tail gas power is the best way to recover the waste heat of tail gas. The utilization rate of waste heat can be increased by more than 50%, and the economic benefits are significant. It should be fully promoted.
9. Comprehensive treatment technology is used to treat carbon black production tail gas and wastewater at the same time. That is, the burning waste water is submerged by the high temperature generated when the tail gas is burned, the oil and phenol in the waste water are decomposed into carbon dioxide and water, and the heat of the flue gas is recovered by the waste heat boiler. Use to achieve the purpose of waste treatment and energy conservation.
10. Improve and improve the carbon black recovery and transportation device. While improving the packaging materials (without paper bags and using space packages as much as possible) and packaging methods, vigorously develop tanker or container transport carbon black to eliminate carbon black dust pollution.
