OW
OW is the abbreviation of OPEN WATER DIVER. Chinese is an open water junior diver. The dive depth is limited to 18 meters. The learning time is generally 4 days.
AOW
AOW is the abbreviation of ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER. Chinese is an open water advanced diver. The dive depth is limited to 30 meters. This course provides participants with different expertise diving training, such as deep diving, boat diving, underwater navigation and night diving . Aow can only be tested after completing the ow. The learning time is 2 days, and it is 6 days to study together.

OW course arrangement:
DAY 1: After arriving at the diving school, watch the video from the afternoon to the evening to start learning the first to fifth unit theory lessons and complete the exercises. You can learn online in advance, and the first day of the province will be exhausted.
DAY 2: Swimming training starts at 8 o'clock in the pool. The coach will take the students to complete the swimming and floating skills, etc., about 12 o'clock; starting at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, swimming pool scuba skills training, wearing full equipment to practice in the pool, depending on learning The progress determines the end time.
DAY 3: More than seven o'clock in the morning to go out to the sea to complete the two dives, that is to complete the swimming pool skills in the ocean, after the completion of the coach will take you to stroll down the sea hhh. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the theory class is studied and the theory class exam is completed.
DAY 4: At 7 o'clock in the morning, we will go out to sea to complete the two dives. At 12 noon, the entire ow course is over, and we can leave by boat in the afternoon.
AOW course arrangement:
DAY 1: The theory class starts at 9 o'clock in the morning, goes to sea to complete two dives in the afternoon, and completes a night dive in the evening.
DAY 2: Departure at two o'clock in the morning to complete the two dives, optional, top neutral buoyancy, fish species recognition, underwater photography and so on. Upon completion both aow graduated.
Hyperoxic course schedule:
The whole hyperoxic course only needs to be completed in one day, the theoretical study of the hyperoxic course at ten in the morning, and the two dives at 12 o'clock. Or you can change two of the dives to nitrox dives while learning aow, the cost is even cheaper.
Other EFR (first aid courses) and Rescue (rescue courses) are required courses for diving instructors. Those who do not intend to be diving instructors do not feel necessary to learn them, so I will not go into details. Personally suggest to learn AOW directly, 6 days, and the course is not difficult and very interesting.
3. The choice of diving school:
The dive schools in each country and region are different. There are definitely many famous coaches, and the best dive schools with Chinese coaches. I chose the BANS dive school in Koh Tao, Thailand (also known as Turtle Island). This dive school is said to be the largest dive school in the world and has the longest history. On the island, there is a free pick-up service, a Chinese coach, a matching restaurant, a supermarket, a diving shop, and accommodation. Then, after I went to the island, I found that BANS is a very regular dive school, with complete supporting services and facilities. When I strolled around the island, I saw the pheasants in other dive schools.

DAY 1:
Departure and arrival:
From Bangkok to Koh Tao, it is generally necessary to make a car and then a steamer, or a train and a steamer, you can buy a joint bus ticket from Taobao, and a car on Khao San Road in Bangkok. It takes about 30 minutes from Bangkok Airport to the pickup point of LOMPRAYAH on Khao San Road, but please be sure to reserve 1 hour of transportation time. We don't provide transfer service from Samui Airport to MAENAM terminal, but it is very convenient. You can just take a taxi directly at the airport. It will not be a problem for you to choose free travel. LOMPRAYAH requires that you re-change your ticket at the office of Khao San Road or Samui Pier 30 minutes before boarding, no matter where you booked the ticket. So be sure to also reserve time for ticket exchange. The ticket exchange time on Khao San Road is 8:30 PM in the evening and 5:30 AM in the morning.

DAY 2:
Arrive at Chunpeng Wharf at 6 am and take a boat to leave Koh Tao after an hour of rest;
1.5-hour boat ride from Chunpeng Wharf to Koh Tao; You can see such a sea for an hour and a half on the ship;
Do n’t panic when you arrive at the pier and stand in the crowd, shouting BANS! Naturally someone will lead you away, of course, the way just a little silly, you can still see the BANS staff through your eyes, they are all wearing big BANS cultural shirts! You will find that BANS dive school is actually on such a beautiful beach;
After staying at the hotel at the front desk, wait for the class to start at 4 pm; you can live in a free fan room, or you can add money to upgrade the room yourself, I added 1,000 baht a day to live in the air-conditioned room on the hilltop of the infinity pool;
Start learning theory class at 4 pm, and watch the video in the classroom after dinner, which can be watched online in advance;
DAY 3: Gather at 8 o'clock in the morning to try the equipment first, you will change from a casual to a diving suit hhhh;
Then start swimming training in the pool, the coach will take the students to complete swimming and floating skills, etc., about 12 o'clock; Start swimming pool scuba skills at 2 pm, wear a full set of equipment to practice in the pool, and decide the end time depending on the progress of the study. The night after training is exhausting, find a restaurant to order a meal and watch the sunset, the sea water rises slowly;
DAY 4:
I am finally going to practice at sea, and I am excited today!
At 7 o'clock in the morning, we gather to go out to the sea to complete the two dives. This is to complete the swimming pool skills in the ocean. After that, the coach will take you to the bottom of the sea for hhh. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon, the theory class is studied and the theory class exam is completed.
The first time using GoPro to shoot underwater is bad, please take a look; In the evening, you can go to the beach to see the performance and drink;
DAY 5:
At seven o'clock in the morning, we gathered to go out to the sea to complete the two dives. At 12 noon, the entire ow course was over, and we could leave by boat in the afternoon.

The second time I used gopro to add a red filter, it felt better; In the evening, look for an open-air restaurant called "Starlight Restaurant", and wait for the fire to burn half the sky; the coach has a phone call, and the restaurant will answer it for free.
DAY 6:
Sign up from the coach to play with the training team and go to sea again to play once, one dive 700 baht;
It feels like the third time I have taken underwater photos, but my hands are still shaking; The boats leaving the island are at 9 am and 2 pm. Be sure to go to the front desk to book a joint ticket as early as possible. The train is difficult to book. The fan sleeper is too pit, basically can't sleep, and the staff will come before 5 o'clock. After closing the bed, your upper bunk will directly become a seat, which is amazing! This is Chunpeng Railway Station. After taking a boat from Tao Island to Chunpeng Wharf, there will be a shuttle bus from Chunpeng Wharf to the train station. Counted in the joint ticket; Back to Bangkok Railway Station, it's easy to go anywhere.
3. Points to note about diving:
1. Remember that you cannot make a plane within 18 hours after a deep dive;
2.ow and aow can be studied together, 4 + 2 = 6 days, it is cheaper than learning alone;
3. The biggest difference between ow and aow is that one can dive 18 meters and one can dive 30 meters;
4. Aow can be night dive after studying, that is, you can go to liveaboard, ow can not;
5. Taobao can buy a set of snorkeling equipment, it is recommended to buy a diving mask and snorkel, I did not buy frog webs, I feel too much space, if the box is large enough and enough clothes, you can try hhh;
6. Remember to bring seasickness medicine;
7. Buy a pair of diving socks, Taobao did, and the frog webs provided by the diving school may not fit;
8. The diving mask is easy to fog under water. Apply soapy water before launching. It is best to bathe the baby without hurting the eyes;
9. Learn to dive together, there is a dive partner system for diving, a reliable and familiar dive partner will make your life more secure;
10. Theoretically, a diver should be able to swim 200 meters freehand or swim 300 meters with a snorkeling tool, and be able to make a 10-minute stop on the water, but in fact can learn to dive without swimming, so do n’t worry if you will The key to swimming is not to be afraid of water;
11. Eat less large meals before diving, in case it is not good to vomit at the bottom;
12. When making a taxi in Thailand, remember to use a meter, just say by meter, and then drive the driver with the navigation, most of the drivers are not reliable, you know;
13. Mosquito repellent water can be bought locally, the effect is good;
14. It is recommended that you can use Baidu if you have any technical terms that you do not understand;
15. Theoretical exams don't need to be afraid, it's very watery! You can pass it, but for your own safety, it is recommended to study well hhh;
16. The peak season is winter and summer vacations, national holidays, other times are okay;

Tips for underwater photography:
1.gopro sports camera is generally the most basic underwater photography equipment on the market;
2. The ability to control neutral buoyancy determines whether the photos you take in gopro are clear or fuzzy, so practicing neutral buoyancy is particularly important when learning to dive (recommend to learn carefully during the study);
3. The yellow filter is used above 10 meters, and the red filter is suitable for use from 20 meters to 10 meters. If it is 20 meters, I suggest buying a flash directly or playing a waterproof flashlight to help fill the light;
4. Don't hit the flashlight and wear the filter, the deeper the water when underwater, the less sunlight can shine, so the less color the camera takes, so you need to add a filter or light, the two are one Just
5. The question of whether to buy the black version or the silver version of gopro. The black version has more 4k video recording but no display can be equipped separately. The white version has a display but no 4k video recording. I suggest you use the white version. Ordinary players record 4k video. burden;
6. What other cameras besides gopro, Sony's black card, add a waterproof case, you can adjust the shooting balance directly under water and it is not easy to shoot, but it is also limited to shooting underwater photography is good, can not be worn like gopro There are extreme items such as paragliding or skydiving on the body and there is no gopro angle, so buy a camera to see which aspect you want to play more;
7. Taobao bought dozens of bucks and hundreds of bucks to install the SLR waterproof bag. It can't be lowered 10 meters, and it can enter the water when it is down, so don't toss. The full-frame SLR underwater waterproof shell is generally two of the SLR body. More than times, so do n’t think about it, the waterproof frame of the remnant frame is generally available within 3,000, you can try it. I have n’t tried it anyway;
8. Before launching, let the person on the boat hold the camera, launch it by yourself, and then let others hand it to you, diving with the camera is easy to damage the camera;
