A set of effluent recycling system with a total investment of RMB 2.92 million was recently started construction at the water supply plant of Qilu Petrochemical Company's olefin plant and will be completed and put into use after six months. The system can process nearly 900,000 tons of sewage every year, and the reuse rate is 70%. It can save more than 1.8 million yuan in sewage charges and water fees every year.
Qilu olefin plant has 450,000 tons of ethylene, 200,000 tons of aromatics, 40,000 tons of phthalic anhydride, three major chemical production facilities, is a large industrial water. The patented waste water recycling and utilization system provided by Beijing University of Chemical Technology uses electrodialysis to recover and purify high-salt, high-ion, and high-turbidity industrial wastewater. After the industrial fresh water standard is reached, the input device continues to be used.
