Design of emergency response plan for foreign printing companies
Fires, floods, leaks, or other emergencies will not only greatly hurt the staff in the printing plant, but also damage the printing equipment, making printing companies bear the high cost of life, business opportunities and property. Planning is the key to good management of printing companies. Lack of planning will lead to overproduction and missed opportunities, while poor planning means that the results of corporate profits and losses are very different. Therefore, planning is essential for companies to respond to emergencies. The mechanism for planning response to emergencies is the emergency plan. This action plan describes the nature of the explosion in the printing house, the actual layout of all equipment, the building exit and the measures taken during and after the incident. Its main goal is to reduce the damage to equipment and damage to people in the factory and surrounding communities. The emergency plan does not require a very complicated document. It should be based on the size and conditions of the printing house itself, and must be revised frequently, so as to ensure that if the machine location, emergency equipment and import and export of various parts of the building change, the plan can be updated in time. Planning should also make sufficient preparations for personnel, equipment and materials to suppress the occurrence of emergencies and train personnel to minimize any negative impacts of the incident on factories and communities. The Environmental Protection Committee may require such planning to comply with legal requirements and not to violate any of the regulations related to the cleaning of air and water quality or the collection and storage of hazardous waste. Local management departments, such as the fire department, require emergency plans to contain some basic elements to ensure that workers have a safe working environment, and emergency responders are also responsible for fires, explosions, or spills. If conditions permit, the emergency plan of the printing house must meet the relevant statutory requirements. The main components of the emergency plan are determined by the size of the plant. The larger the factory and the higher the comprehensiveness, the more detailed the plan. The main part of the plan includes the following points. 1. The layout of all the factory equipment, exports, emergency equipment and materials. 2. Special contact personnel at the time of the incident and afterwards. 3. The inventory list and material safety data sheet of all materials in the factory. 4. Personnel arrangements in response to emergencies. Who operates the emergency equipment that organizes and controls incidents? Who will arrange contact with the community emergency response department? What should personnel and management personnel do when the machine issues an alarm? And who evacuated the commander from the building, and who was responsible for evacuating the crowd? 5. All emergency response equipment and materials shall list their types and storage locations in detail. It mainly includes fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems. 6. The plan must comply with the regulations, including the incident contact and accident report, and the necessary follow-up reports must not violate relevant regulations. 7. Plan training affairs and train employees how to calmly respond to emergencies or drills in emergencies. The details of the plan and the related fields should be consistent with the materials, processes and equipment used in the factory. A small printing house can complete this plan with one or two pages. Fire drills are also necessary. As long as it takes a small part of the time, it is possible to check for gaps in the plan during the simulation exercise, which is more cost-effective than acting when the incident has threatened the safety of the property.
